Into the
Impenetrable
Trek through the ancient rainforests of Bwindi to stand face-to-face with the majestic Mountain Gorillas of Uganda.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a biological marvel dating back 25,000 years. This ancient rainforest is home to roughly half of the world’s remaining population of Mountain Gorillas.
The trek itself is part of the adventure—navigating through thick vines, giant ferns, and misty valleys. Guided by expert trackers and Rwenzori Hantravel rangers, you will hike until you find a habituated gorilla family. The hour you spend observing them play, groom, and rest is often described as the most profound wildlife experience on Earth.
Gorilla Habituation
Experience
Want more than just one hour? The Gorilla Habituation Experience allows you to spend up to four hours with a semi-habituated family. You will join researchers and rangers as they gently train wild gorillas to become comfortable with human presence. It is a raw, challenging, and deeply rewarding adventure exclusive to the Rushaga sector.

- Limited to 4 tourists per group (Private & Intimate)
