Experience the energy of the village youth as they perform with instruments crafted purely from local materials.
Taste of the Mountains
You haven’t truly visited Kasese until you’ve eaten Sombe. Forget the hotel buffet. Join the women of the village in a traditional kitchen to prepare a real Bakonzo meal.
Sombe (Cassava leaves & fish) and Kalo (Millet bread).
Use the ekinju (mortar) to pound leaves and “mingle” the millet flour.
